Yep, it’s happening! After months of planning, prepping, drawing, shipping, answering emails, (and sometimes forgetting to eat lunch), we’re finally taking a real, well-deserved break. For the next 15 days or so, the studio is officially out of office — and we couldn’t be happier to hit the road.
After spending five incredible weeks exploring Indonesia this past spring — with temples, volcanoes, jungle trains, and a lot of tropical noodles — we’re now switching gears. This time, we’re staying in our own beautiful continent for a quiet, leafy, woodland rest. No flights, no chaos, no new currencies. Just forest paths, slow mornings, lakes (hopefully swimmable), and the kind of calm that resets everything from the brain to the spine.
This will be one of those gentle adventures — the kind where you pack a proper book, your favorite sweatshirt, and leave the laptop at the bottom of the bag (or maybe not even bring it at all? Bold, I know). We’re embracing road trip mode, offline mornings, and spontaneous stops whenever a castle or a bakery sign shows up on the way.
I’ll do my best to share a little bit of this unplugged summer life over on Instagram — though I have to admit, I’m not the kind of person who documents every pasta plate or cloud. So please be patient with me. I promise that if I post, it will be worth your scroll: beautiful hidden places, cozy cabins, spectacular views, and that kind of relaxed joy that makes you want to be outside all day with no plans.
Big Plans for When We're Back!
Meanwhile, I’ve been working (quietly, behind the scenes) on a full blog post about our Indonesia trip — all the highlights, surprises, travel tips, and unforgettable places that made it one of the most inspiring journeys I’ve ever taken. If you haven’t yet subscribed to the newsletter, now’s a great time to join — it’s just a couple of emails per month, and they’re always filled with good stuff: new launches, gift ideas, travel inspiration, and some surprise treats along the way.
The Shop Stays Open (Don’t Worry!)
Now, here’s the good news: the shop remains open 24/7! We may be on vacation, but your orders are still being handled and shipped as fast as usual. We’ve made sure everything runs smoothly while we’re away, so your walls don’t have to wait for their next favorite map or travel print.
If you have a specific question or a custom request, emails will still be answered — just give us up to 48 hours instead of the usual 24. It’s August, after all. Everyone deserves a little extra sun and screen break, right?

This pause wouldn’t be possible without you. The orders, the messages, the support, the way you all tag your prints in your beautiful homes — all of it gives me the fuel to keep creating and improving this little universe of illustrated maps and travel stories. So thank you, truly.

We’ll be back soon, recharged and ready to bring in a cozy and exciting “back to school” season. (Yes, even if we’re all well past school age, September still feels like a fresh start, right?). I’ve got some beautiful new prints, more bundles, a few map surprises, and lots of ideas waiting to come to life — and I can’t wait to share it all with you.
